An elopement dress, in our atelier, is a wedding dress made for a bride who wants the day to belong to the landscape — not to a cathedral, not to a 200-person reception, not to a wedding-industrial-complex checklist. The MÝWONY elopement collection is built for the bride who wants a dress that moves with the wind, photographs honestly on a cliff or in a forest, and feels like an extension of the place she's chosen.
The dresses below are not shorter than our other gowns — that's not how we define elopement here. They are lighter, made in natural silk, and chosen because their silhouettes integrate gracefully with nature. A free-spirited bride needs a dress that doesn't fight the wind, doesn't drag in the moss, and doesn't impose a formality the venue isn't asking for. That's what these are.
What makes a MÝWONY elopement dress different
Every piece in this collection is made to order to your exact measurements. Nothing on this page is held in stock; once you place an order, our atelier begins the dress for you. The standard timeline is 12–20 weeks from order to ship. If your elopement is sooner, contact us before ordering — we can sometimes accommodate a 4–8 week express timeline by special arrangement for an additional fee.
Every dress is hand-stitched in our atelier. The hems, the lace, the inner construction that holds the silhouette — all of it is finished by hand. MÝWONY is a small niche atelier, not a factory: you receive a level of craft you would otherwise find in heritage couture houses like Dior, at a reasonable price and from a single designer who works on your dress personally from first sketch to last stitch.
The dresses in this collection come from our two most recent collections — Spells of the Whispering Forest and Collection '24. Both were designed around a single conviction: that a wedding dress should feel like it belongs in the place where it's worn, especially when that place is wild.
What about a courthouse or city-hall wedding?
The collection below is built for outdoor and nature-led ceremonies. For a more conventional city-hall or registry-office ceremony, our Laetisse is the dress we currently recommend — its silhouette and proportion work beautifully in a small interior setting. We can also create a shorter version of almost any dress in the collection by special request — contact us before ordering and we'll design and quote a shortened silhouette for your venue.
How to choose your dress
The dresses below are the silhouettes we recommend most often for nature-led elopements. For a full guide to choosing — silhouette by venue, fabric by climate — read our complete Elopement Dress Guide, or contact us for a personal recommendation from our designer.
Frequently asked questions
What is a MÝWONY elopement dress?
A MÝWONY elopement dress is a wedding dress designed for a bride who wants her ceremony to integrate with nature rather than with a traditional venue. The dresses are made in natural silk, hand-stitched in our atelier, and chosen for silhouettes that move with the wind and photograph beautifully in outdoor light — on a cliff, in a forest, on a beach, in any setting where the landscape is part of the dress.
Are MÝWONY elopement dresses shorter than the other dresses?
No. The dresses in this collection are full-length couture gowns. We define an elopement dress by its spirit, fabric, and silhouette — lightweight silks, fluid construction, designs that suit a free-spirited bride — not by hemline. If you would like a shortened version of any of these dresses for a city-hall or registry ceremony, contact us before ordering.
How long does a MÝWONY dress take to make?
The standard timeline is 12–20 weeks from order confirmation to ship date. If your wedding is sooner, contact us before ordering — we can sometimes accommodate a 4–8 week express timeline by special arrangement, for an additional fee.
How long does shipping take?
Up to 9 days via international courier once your dress leaves the atelier. We ship worldwide.
How are duties and taxes handled?
For the United States, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout — the price you see at checkout is the final price. For the United Kingdom, Australia, and most of Asia, duties and import taxes are calculated by your local customs authority on arrival. Please contact us for a duties estimate for your specific country before you order.
Can I have alterations done after the dress arrives?
Yes. Because the dress is made to your measurements, most brides need only a minor on-site press or steam. For brides traveling to a destination, plan for at least 48 hours between arrival and the ceremony to allow for any final adjustments.
How does fit work if I can't visit your atelier?
We send you a detailed video measurement guide that walks you through every measurement we need. If you would like to do the measurements with a designer on a live video call, we offer that as an optional 20-minute consultation by special request — just ask and we'll schedule one. We've fitted brides in 40+ countries this way without an in-person appointment.
Who designs the dress?
MÝWONY is a small niche atelier with a single designer. Your dress is built by one designer and a small atelier team, not by a factory or a brand-style production house. What you receive is the level of craft you would otherwise find in a heritage couture house like Dior — at a reasonable price, and made for you personally.
What is the price range for an elopement dress?
Our elopement-appropriate dresses start at $2,400 and most fall in the $3,200–$7,000+ range, depending on fabric, beadwork, and complexity. Our most elaborate piece, the Miryelle, is priced at $7,050. The exact price for each style is on the individual product page. There are no surprise fees — the price you see includes the made-to-measure fitting, the hand-stitched construction, and standard worldwide courier shipping.
Can I have one of these dresses made as a shorter dress for city hall?
Yes. We can make a shortened version of almost any dress in this collection by special request. Contact us before ordering and we'll design and quote a shortened silhouette appropriate for your venue. If you would prefer a piece designed for a city-hall context out of the box, our Laetisse dress is the one we currently recommend.
