An elopement dress is a wedding dress designed for an intimate ceremony — usually shorter, lighter, and easier to travel with than a traditional gown, but no less considered. At MÝWONY, every elopement dress is made to your measurements, hand-stitched in our atelier, and built with the same couture details we put into our full-length silhouettes.
We don't believe an elopement should mean a compromise. A courthouse on a Tuesday, a cliff above the Aegean, a registry office in Marylebone, a single witness on a mountain — each of these deserves a dress that fits exactly, photographs beautifully, and arrives at your door on schedule.
What makes a MÝWONY elopement dress different
Every piece in this collection is made to order to your exact measurements. Nothing on this page is held in stock; once you place an order, our cutters and seamstresses begin the dress for you. The standard timeline is 10–14 weeks from order to ship. If your elopement is sooner, contact us before ordering — we can sometimes accommodate a six-week express timeline for an additional fee.
Every dress is hand-stitched in our atelier. The hems, the bead-work, the inner construction that holds the silhouette — all of it is finished by hand by a small team who have been making wedding dresses for over a decade. You are not buying a factory dress with hand-finished trim. You are buying a hand-made dress.
We ship worldwide with full duties and taxes calculated at checkout for the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU, Canada, Australia, and most of Asia.
How to choose your elopement dress

Frequently asked questions
What is an elopement dress?
An elopement dress is a wedding dress designed for an intimate, low-formality ceremony — typically shorter, lighter, and more packable than a traditional gown, with a silhouette that works outside a cathedral setting. At MÝWONY, every elopement dress is made to your measurements in our atelier.
How long does a MÝWONY dress take to make?
The standard timeline is 10–14 weeks from order confirmation to ship date. If your wedding is sooner, contact us before ordering — we can sometimes accommodate a six-week express timeline for an additional fee.
Can I have alterations done after the dress arrives?
Yes. Because the dress is made to your measurements, most brides need only a minor on-site press or steam. For brides traveling to a destination wedding, plan for at least 48 hours between arrival and the ceremony to allow for any final adjustments.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — worldwide. Duties and taxes are calculated at checkout for the United States, United Kingdom, EU, Canada, Australia, and most of Asia. For other destinations, contact us for an individual quote. Most international orders ship in 3–5 business days once production is complete.
How does fit work if I can't visit your atelier?
We work with a detailed self-measurement kit and a virtual consultation. You'll be sent a printable measurement guide and a video walkthrough, and one of our designers will join you on a 20-minute video call to confirm your measurements before we cut the dress. We've fitted brides in 40+ countries this way without an in-person appointment.
What is the price range for an elopement dress?
Our elopement-appropriate dresses start at $2,400 and most fall in the $3,200–$5,500 range, depending on fabric, beadwork, and complexity. The exact price for each style is on the individual product page. There are no surprise fees — the price you see includes the made-to-measure fitting, the hand-stitched construction, and standard worldwide shipping.
Do you do simple courthouse or city-hall dresses too?
Yes. A courthouse wedding dress is essentially an elopement dress — most of the styles in this collection work for a registry office or city hall. The shortest silhouettes and the two-piece styles are the most popular choices for courthouse brides.
